SF Men Knit wishes Bill Jones a Farewell, Gives the Pride Blanket a New Home

The 2017 San Francisco Pride Blanket also had a secret purpose! One of our highly esteemed members, Bill Jones, a kindly man with vast years of experience who was always ready to share his knowledge and skills with us less skilled knitters, was preparing to move to another state.

The origin of the blanket project was to both show Pride and to give this wonderful man a going away present. It was so secret that he even knitted a few squares himself! And it worked! Bill was completely surprised and happy with the thoughtfulness of the group. We will miss Bill as he moves on.
